what are you working on right now? (utau edition)

hello! i pretty commonly see these kinds of threads on other forums and thought itd be fun here.
so..... what are you working on right now in the utau world? recording a vb? designing? making a cover or original?

right now im drawing for my upcoming inanimate utau... and working on mixing a cover of they will bury me a woman by rainyholmes with kasane ted and am tuning a cover of human by flavor foley with purin taa!

Figuring how to complete some of my covers. Majority of the covers I need to either tune (specifically for demo-ing new voicebanks in the future that I've recorded) or create a PV/MV which I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I don't like posting videos where it's mainly either the original PV from the song or the scrolling of OpenUTAU nowadays even though that would be technically the easy way out nowadays. I prefer to give time to each and every cover I do to show how much I appreciate each and every one of the song covers I do.
Of course the only exception of using the original PV is when I cannot do justice on the art or animation during that same period of time.

I'm trying to make a MV for a cover! I have like. Barely any progress, and it's supposed to be done by Halloween. Oops.
(Also my friend's supposed to be helping with drawing the backgrounds but they haven't made any progress either... We might be cooked 😞😞)

I am also working on an MV that I'd like to post before Halloween (but 's prolly not gonna happen HUINGR)
It's of Kakome Kakome, n it's like 30 images; it's 40% scenery/establishing shots, 50% group shots of a buncha UTAU... I've done rough sketches for the entire thing, and I've done cleaned sketches for 11/30 of the frames. Actively fighting my brain to actually concentrate on it </3 but it WILL be done eventually, even if it takes the rest of the year.

I have two voicebanks for my UTAU I unfortunately had to move to the "back burner," Sanoto C+V EN Soft, and Sanoto C+V EN Normal. In order for Normal to be done I have to finish Soft, because I want the Normal bank to have Power, Soft, and Falsetto as voice colors.
I also want to rerelease an UTAU I made in 2018 with new art and an updated TOS in her files here, when I get to it anyways.
I've got numerous unfinished (or finished with no PV) covers I'm sitting on. Most are currently SynthV or Vocaloid but I've got a few Utau ones as well like a cover of Aishiteitanoni (Sanoto, deciding between C+V Power and CVVC), and I'd like to use the leekas at some point, particularly either Toriko or Sena. There's actually a ton of voicebanks I'd like to use, maybe one day I'll do a medley.

So many things!
- A few different UTAU voicebanks
- A Tobiraka Doa cover of Lock All The Doors (I also plan on making an accompanying MV, but haven't decided on much in the visual department)
- A Kasane Teto cover of CYBER DANCE with an animated MV (the art is done, I just need to put it all together!)
- An Oune Meno cover of Maxwell's Silver Hammer (I have character designs and the ideas for an MV sketched out, but haven't really put them into motion yet)
- I've come to find that having an UTAU sing the lyrics to my original songs is a wonderful way to glean whether or not said lyrics sound "right" being sung, before I sing them myself; so, I've been experimenting with having all sorts of different voicebanks sing all sorts of different songs (I don't plan on releasing these UTAU demos as they all sound like dog-speak (RUFF), but I do suppose they count as something I'm working on!)

And now that all of this is public knowledge, I can be held accountable for actually getting this stuff done -- HUZZAH, HUZZAH ;) There's also a Meaty-chan cover of Ready to Die that I finished earlier this month (I wanted to get it done before her SCREAM voicebank released; I did include a good bit of scream-singing in the cover, but wanted to do it with her default voicebank for the sake of a fun little challenge); I started editing together an MV, but scrapped it :(

Those are only the things I'm actively working on; I've got a bunch of old covers I'd really like to redo or finish (so that they can be redone later on >;D), maybe once I'm done with everything I'm presently working on. I'd also very much like to give some of the UTAUs posted here a try; I love seeing everyone's different voicebanks, and listening to their demos! Perhaps I'll release one of my own, if I can finish any of them!!!!

I am working on making a V2 voicebank for Kazuki Masariton (Kazuki Masariton is my artifical voicebank made with mixing sound effects togehter, specificaly using the sound effect DOUG'S FUNNY HOP. Im planning to add him to UtauDB after i finish his V2 but for now you can find stuff about him on his wikipage), it's a Japanese VCV and Japanese CVVC voicebank with some extras. Rignt now i need to:

- Fix his main oto (Im about 3/4 done otoing him, all that's left is the CCV and VV :D)
- Create his extra aliases (I plan on giving him short breaths, long breaths, glottal stops and vocal fry's)
- Create improved art for him since his old art is mid (I'll probably do it myself but im not that good at it, i dont have any money to pay someone to draw him but if anyone is down for a trade for an oto that would be good)
- And do some demos for him
