Allistair Sanoto prefers to lurk in dark corners and alleyways to obtain his source of blood, and stockpiles vials of it in a refrigerated medicine cabinet custom-built on his wall.
He is lazy when it comes to most things, and speaks in a condescending manner to mask his anxiety, especially in social situations. He'll bluntly speak his mind if he's pressed on something, though.
Gender: Male (trans)
Age: 25 biologically, 250 chronologically
Birthday: June 6
Species: Vampire
Height: 5'8
Sanoto also has a Toyhouse page! This means you have a place to submit fanart or learn additional details about his character.
--------------------------------
Sanoto's first two banks, Terror CV & Power CV, are androgynous. The rest of his voicebanks are masculine and the majority are very deep in tone.
Sanoto generally works best with Straycat-RS as far as resamplers go, his CVVC has been thoroughly tested to work well with Hifisampler and aside from some quirks, his C+V banks also work with it. TIPS is generally fine for all but Power/Terror CV.
It is advised not to use Worldline in general or Moresampler with Sanoto's C+V or CVVC banks, but quite a few resamplers are finicky with his voice.
The pitches below were found via Audacity, but should give a general ballpark of the ranges they should be used at.
Power CV, Japanese - D#4
Terror CV, Japanese - A3
Mature CV, Japanese - D#3
Day CV, Japanese - B2
Night CV, Japanese - A#2
CVVC, Japanese with English extras - A2
Power C+V, English - E3
Falsetto C+V, English - E3
--------------------------------
The Extra English phonemes on Sanoto's CVVC bank are as follows, rather than standard English phonemes:
Allistair Sanoto's English phonemes are in the same style as the Japanese ones. Meaning they use tha/thi/thu/the/tho instead of typical English.
th- = A soft TH sound. Usually where an "s" phoneme would go when making a Japanese vocal synth sing in English. Used more in certain accents than others.
dh- / dd- = A hard TH sound. Usually where an "z" phoneme would go when making a Japanese vocal synth sing in English. Used for words such as "There."
l- = An L phoneme
wr- = American R's. -r2 are also American R's where as r-2, r-, and -r are Japanese.
zh- = A soft z
vv- = A very hard "th" sound. Slight lisp.
ng- = An "ng" sound. Used in words such as "Ending"
kw- = A Kw- or Qu- sound. Used in words like "Queen"
ff- = A long and hard F sound.
gw- = A Gw- sound.
dz- = A very hard Z sound. Used more often in Japanese than English.
